Our relationship with Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) began in 2021 with a small group of BCE schools that independently adopted Essential Assessment. These early adopters, through their alignment with BCE’s broader strategy, have set a successful precedent in building assessment-capable learners across their system, a feat we are all proud of.
In 2025, BCE increased its partnership with Essential Assessment through a group of subscribing schools using the platform to assist with aligning key strategic initiatives, including the Growing and Thriving agenda and Curriculum Compass (Learning and Teaching Framework).
Essential Assessment, as an external provider, was selected for its alignment with BCE’s criteria for impact, particularly by supporting the pillars of the Growing and Thriving framework, a choice that has instilled confidence and security in our partnership.
